Abstract:
To provide an acceleration detecting device and a method for correcting drift error of an acceleration sensor, capable of eliminating the influence of congested state on a slope and a road, and achieving more accurate zero-point correction.
This acceleration detection device comprises a drift quantity calculation section 13 for averaging G sensor output value, each time a vehicle travels a prescribed distance and calculating the drift quantity of the G sensor output value from the zero point, and a zero-point correction section 14 for performing the zero-point correction of the G sensor output value based on the drift quantity.
