Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acceleration power source device capable of drastically improving an undershoot and overshoot of load voltage.
SOLUTION: In an acceleration power source constituted of a thyristor rectifier 11, direct current filters 12 and 13, an inverter 31, a transformer 32 and a diode rectifier 33, phase control signal given to the thyristor rectifier 11 for a period from when the power supply to an ion source 6 is terminated during normal state of the load to when the power supply to the load is initiated again is maintained at a value immediately before the power supply to the ion source 6 is terminated and made to be the initial value of the phase control signal at the time of restarting the power supply to the ion source 6. In order to attain it, a phase control signal adjusting means consisting of an operation circuit 7, a voltage setter 81, voltage divider 2, an adder 82, an analog switch 91, a voltage control adjuster 83 and a phase control circuit 84 is provided.
