PURPOSE: To detect acceleration in different directions by mounting a single sensor element on a circuit board such that the sensor element can be directed in an arbitrary direction and combining a plurality of piezoelectric speed sensors.

CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric oscillation sensor comprises a sensor element 1 provided with electrodes 2, 3 on the opposite sides thereof, and a rectangular prism case 7 housing the cantilever sensor element 1. First and second terminals 4, 5 connected with one electrode 3 of the sensor element 1 are led out, respectively, to two side faces of the case 7 intersection perpendicularly. A third terminal 6 connected with the other electrode 2 of the sensor element 1 is led out 6a, 6b, in parallel with the first and second terminals 4, 5, to two side faces of the case 7 intersecting perpendicularly.
