To provide an acceleration switch put in action by applying small acceleration while being prevented from becoming large-sized.
A pair of cutout parts 9 are provided at both longitudinal side parts of an inertia weight 8. The cutout parts 9 are provided in the positions shifted from the center of the inertia weight 8 at both end parts of the inertia weight 8. The inertia weight 8 is composed of a joint part 8a provided between the cutout parts 9, and a weight body 8b and a balancer part 8c provided at both ends of the joint part 8a. One end of each beam 10 is connected to an inner face 9a of each cutout part 9, and the other end of each beam 10 is connected to a silicon chip 2. The inertia weight 8 is thereby journalled by the beam 10 and rotatable around the beam 10 as an axis.
