Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible obtain a smooth acceleration performance without misfiring, by driving a throttle valve with the use of a drive means which is isolated from an accelerator operating means to restrain abrupt variations in the amount of intake-air. CONSTITUTION:A detection signal from a pedal potensiometer for detecting the amount of stroke of an accelerator pedal 1 is delivered to a controller 5. Further, a servo-motor 8 severing as a throttle valve driving means is attached to one end of a rotary shaft 7a fitted to a throttle chamber 6, and is driven by an output power from the controller 5. Further, a digital signal from a microcomputer 52 in the controller 5 is converted into an analog control signal by means of a D-A converter 53 and then is amplified by a servo-driver 54. The thus amplified analog signal is delivered to the servo-motor 8 which is therefore rotated by a predetermined angle.
