Abstract:
To provide an accelerator control device which achieves suppression of runaway caused by erroneous stepping on an accelerator pedal with a simple structure, and which can be easily adopted on an existing automobile.SOLUTION: An automobile includes an engine controller 5 which changes an output of an engine 3 by an accelerator opening according to stepping of an accelerator pedal 1. A pseudo limit opening is set at the accelerator opening according to the stepping of the accelerator pedal 1, and when the accelerator opening has surpassed the pseudo limit opening, an output control part 9 of an accelerator control part 7 suppresses or cuts the output of the engine 3 in preference to the control by the engine controller 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
