Abstract:
To provide an accelerator for exhaust gas flow capable of being appropriately mounted to various kinds of equipment including an internal combustion engine, and having flexibility or elasticity.SOLUTION: An accelerator 10 is installed at a terminal of an exhaust system in an internal combustion engine, and is configured to accelerate exhaust gas flow to release it to the atmosphere. The accelerator comprises: a cylindrical device body 20 of which one end is an exhaust gas inflow side where exhaust gas flow discharged from the terminal of the exhaust system is caught, and the other end is an exhaust gas outflow side where exhaust gas flow is released to the atmosphere; a tail pipe 28 provided on the exhaust gas outflow side of the device body, for releasing exhaust gas flow the atmosphere; and a cap 50 provided on the exhaust gas outflow side of the tail pipe 28. The cap 50 has a bent part 51 displacing an outflow direction of exhaust gas flow at a predetermined angle with respect to an axis direction of the tail pipe, and can rotate around the axis direction of the tail pipe 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
