Abstract:
To provide an accelerator for exhaust gas flow capable of being appropriately mounted to various kinds of equipment including an internal combustion engine, and having flexibility or elasticity.SOLUTION: An accelerator 10 is installed at a terminal of an exhaust system in an internal combustion engine, and is configured to accelerate exhaust gas flow to release it to the atmosphere. The accelerator comprises: a cylindrical device body 20 of which one end is an exhaust gas inflow side where exhaust gas flow discharged from the terminal of the exhaust system is caught, and the other end is an exhaust gas outflow side where exhaust gas flow is released to the atmosphere; and a silencer 60 provided on the exhaust gas inflow side of the device body 20, for reducing noise caused by releasing exhaust gas flow to the atmosphere.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
