Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain limp home function by providing a torque control means for controlling a driving means with brake pedal operation, detected by a brake sensor, as input so as to change output torque of a drive source.
SOLUTION: A driving means 2 controls output torque of a drive source 1. A power transmission 8 connects wheels 91 to the drive source 1 through a differential gear 90. A control device (ECU) 3 controls the driving means 2 and the power transmission 8. An accelerator sensor 4 detects the depressed quantity of an accelerator pedal. A vehicle speed sensor 6 detects vehicle speed from the rotation of an output shaft of the power transmission 8. A shift position sensor 7 detects the position of a shift lever for operating the power transmission 8, from the displacement of a shift link or the like. With brake operation as input, the driving means 2 is thus controlled to change the output torque of the drive source, so that a vehicle can travel to an expected place without hindrance even at the time of the failure of the accelerator sensor 4.
