Abstract:
To provide an accelerator operation device, an accelerator member, and a moving body capable of suppressing abrupt acceleration operation.SOLUTION: An accelerator operation device 1 can be fitted to a vehicle having a brake pedal operated by a driver and an acceleration pedal by which the driver operates the accelerator aperture. The accelerator operation device 1 has a main body member 10 for activating an abutting member 2 and an accelerator pedal A in conjunction with the abutting member 2. The abutting member 2 includes: a plate-like member 5 against which the right knee of the driver abuts; a second blade 6b which is in conjunction with the main body member 10; and a magnet 7 which integrally fixes the plate-like member 5 and the second blade 6b in a separable manner. Upon application of at least a predetermined level of impact when pressing the plate-like member 5 by the knee of the driver, the plate-like member 5 and the second blade 6b separate whereby a force applied from the right knee to the second blade 6b through the plate-like member 5 is lost.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
