Abstract:
To make it possible to recognize a target opening easily and to make it possible to maintain the target opening easily and to prevent an operator from causing discomfort and fatigue feeling in an accelerator pedal device.SOLUTION: An accelerator pedal device comprises: a housing 10; an accelerator pedal 20 which is swingably supported to the housing; a restoring spring 30 which applies urging force to a direction pushing back the accelerator pedal; a main hysteresis generating mechanism 40 which produces hysteresis to tread force in stepping-down operation and restoring operation of the accelerator pedal; and a reaction additional mechanism 50 which adds reaction force to the direction pushing back the accelerator pedal. The reaction additional mechanism 50 adds the reaction force so that the rate of change of the tread force in an opening region larger than a target opening θt becomes relatively larger than the rate of change of the tread force in an opening region smaller than the target opening θt by bordering the prescribed target opening θt which the accelerator pedal is stepped down. According to this, the operator can prevent discomfort and fatigue feeling and can maintain the accelerator pedal to the target opening easily.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
