Abstract:
To provide a safety device for an accelerator pedal capable of regulating accelerator operation by using an accelerator pedal when a movement amount of the accelerator pedal in stepping on the accelerator pedal is large, and a driving device for a vehicle with the safety device for an accelerator pedal.SOLUTION: A safety device 40 for an accelerator pedal includes: an arm mechanism 50 including a first arm 52 for supporting an accelerator pedal 22 in a drivable manner, and a second arm 54 configured to be movable in conjunction with the first arm 52 and connected rotatably to a position detection part 24 to transmit the movement amount of the accelerator pedal 22 to the position detection part 24 by causing the adsorption power of a magnet plate 52d of the first arm 52 to rotate both the arms 52, 54 in a connected state; and a regulation part 60 for releasing the connected state by abutting on the second arm 54 when a rotational angle of the first arm 52 reaches an angle α and preventing the movement amount of the accelerator pedal 22 from being transmitted to the position detection part 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
