Abstract:
To provide an accelerator pedal system which can appropriately control a locked state of an accelerator pedal.SOLUTION: An accelerator pedal system 1 comprises a pedal lever 20, a lock mechanism 50, an actuator 40, and an ECU 60. The lock mechanism 50 can restrict operation of the pedal lever 20. The actuator 40 performs switching between a locked state in which operation of the pedal lever 20 is restricted by the lock mechanism 50 and an unlocked state in which it is not restricted. The ECU 60 has a lock actuation determination part 64 and an actuator control part 65. After the locked state is canceled by a stepping operation of the pedal lever 20 during automatic driving control in the locked state, when the automatic driving control is continued or restoration of the automatic driving control is detected, the lock actuation determination part 64 restores the locked state by driving the actuator 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
