This accelerator of secretion of lacrimal fluid includes a ligand of serotonin receptor {e.g. an antagonist of serotonin (2) of a compound of the formula [R2 is H, a halogen or a 1-5C alkoxy; R1 is the same as the R2 or a 2-6C dialkylamino; R3 is H, OH, a group of the formula O-(CH2)n-COOH ((n) is 1-5) or a group of the formula O-CO-(CH2)1-COOH ((l) is 1-3); R4 is a group of the formula N(R5) (R6) (R5 and R6 are each H or 1-8C alkyl)], etc.} as an active ingredient. The medicine is administered in a form of oral medicine, injection medicine, eye lotion or ointment in a daily dose of 0.5-50mg/kg body weight.
