PURPOSE: To solve acceleration defective with a simple system by providing a mean which keeps a choke valve to open unwidely and temporarily at the time of opening a throttle vale rapidly.
CONSTITUTION: Throttle valves 5 and choke valves 6 are arranged in respective carburetors 3 which are connected to vertically arranged three intake pipes 2 of a three-cylinder engine for an outboard motor. Choke arms 8 which are respectively connected to the choke valves 6 are mutually connected via a link 10. In this case, in a long hole 14b which is formed at a lower end part of a choke lever 14 connected to a start-up solenoid 13, tip end of a rod 15d of a diaphragm type actuator 15 is engaged by a pin 15e. The rod 15d is pulled by a diaphragm 15a, at the time of increase of an intake negative pressure which is introduced to a negative pressure chamber 15b, so as to rotate the choke valve 6 to the close side via the choke lever 14.
