Abstract:
PURPOSE: To control the number of times of an access and an access interval of each buffer in accordance with the number of arrivals of an input cell and a packet of each buffer in order to send out the cell and the packet sent from plural input links, to a single output link.
CONSTITUTION: An access frequency determining means 15 allows the respective numbers of times of an access of buffers 121-12n in a prescribed period to coincide with the number of information units arriving to its buffer within a prescribed period. An access interval control means 16 equalizes a read-out access interval to the buffers 121-12n in a prescribed period to the utmost.
