Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional access network remote control system that causes disabled communication with an OLT, wrong delivery in communication of other user and imposes a load on the OLT because of erroneous system setting or path setting when power is applied again to an ONU/ ONT.
SOLUTION: The ONU/ONT 101-10n update an LSMI value denoting a command finally stored when storing new instance information and use an attribute value change message to inform the OLT 131 about the LSMI value at a proper time. Even on the occurrence of information mismatch due to power interruption before storage processing of data by the newest command is completed, the OLT 131 requests an MIB data sink value from the ONU/ONT 101-10n at application of power to detect mismatching of information between the OLT and the ONT. Furthermore, in this case, the OLT 131 allows the ONU/ONT 101-10n to transmit again the setting information after the message specified by the LSMI value.
