PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment for a handheld appliance, in particular a hair care appliance such as a hot air styling device.SOLUTION: An attachment includes a casing having an air inlet for receiving an airflow from a hair styling apparatus, a hair engaging member supported by the casing, an airflow outlet located between the casing and the hair engaging member and shaped to direct air onto an external surface of the hair engaging member, and airflow guiding means extending over the external surface of the hair engaging member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
