Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an accessory made of a precious metal sheet on which uneven patterns are formed by a metal mold consisting of a specified number of single molds arranged together each of which has different patterns on the top surface.
SOLUTION: A single mold (a) consists of a short metallic pillar whose section is a polygon or other forms, and a mold part 1 with a pattern such as a quadrangular pyramid, cross, or other pattern or unevenness on top of the metallic pillar. A metallic mold (A) is a collection of a specified number of these single molds (a) closely arranged and fixed each other as an aggregate. A material sheet 2 made of precious metal, etc., for an accessory is put on the metallic mold (A), and the top surface of the material sheet 2 is pressed downward by a rubber die 3 with hydraulic pressure, etc. The rubber die 3 is pressed for run-in in the direction of the part whose pressure resistance is weak, and the material sheet 2 is pressed and fitted on the top surface of the metallic mold (A). Thus, the patterns of the mold part placed on top on the metallic mold (A) are pressed on the material sheet 2, and the material sheet 2 processed in this way is used as an accessory (B).
