Abstract:
To make it possible to calculate an index related to likelihood of accidents in a vehicle using an unconventional index.SOLUTION: A calculation data storage unit 120 of an accident index calculation device 10 is used together with a map data storage device. A first index acquisition unit 110 of the accident index calculation device 10 acquires information (travel route identification information) for identifying a travel route of a vehicle 60, and acquires a first index using the travel route identification information and map data stored in a map data storage device 50. The first index is related to the number of unit roads that is the number per unit travel time of a unit road included in the travel route. A calculation unit 130 calculates an index (a second index) related to likelihood of occurrence of accidents (e.g., a traffic accident) in the driver of the vehicle 60 or in the vehicle 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
