Abstract:
PURPOSE:To safely get on and off a small ship and such by fitting the upper end of an accommodation ladder whose intermediate section is formed in a rotatable joint, to the hull so as to be rotated up and down and then the lower end to a float whose buoyance can freely be adjusted. CONSTITUTION:A pivot section 5 is provided at the central part of an accommodation ladder main body 1 and upper and lower ladder sections 101 and 102 are pivoted freely. The upper end of the upper ladder section 101 is pivoted at the deck side position of the hull A and is freely rotated up and down. A float 2 formed in a hollow and whose buoyance can freely be adjusted through an opening 8 is connected to the lower end of the lower ladder section 102 with a pivot 7. When one gets on and off a small ship B, the height can simply be adjusted by adjusting the buoyance of the float 2 and the getting on and off can safely be performed.
