Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the economical, safety and comfortability by leveling up the deckhouses on the second or higher layer efficiency to provide a navigation bridge deckhouse on the uppermost part, demarcating a void capable of loading three or more layers of containers between the deckhouses on the first and second layers.
CONSTITUTION: In a container ship, a deckhouse 3 on the first layer is provided on the top of the upper deck 2 immediately above the engine room 1. A deckhouse 4 on the second layer is provided to the upper part of the deckhouse 3 on the first layer, and a void 4 is demarcated therebetween. In addition, deckhouses 5-7 on the third or higher layers are provided in a vertical contact manner, and the navigation bridge deckhouse 8 is provided on the uppermost part. The deckhouses 3-7 are expanded to the ship sides, and connected to the deckhouse 3 on the first layer through an outer wall 9, a front end bulkhead 10, an engine casing 11 and the trunk 12. On the other hand, the open deck 13 as the container handling place is provided on the top of the deckhouse 3 on the first layer, and the containers of several layers are loaded in the void 14 and secured.
