To provide an article purchase system by which a user conducts purchasing of a commodity remotely by utilizing a communication terminal.
Purchase information or client information of a user is transmitted from a communication terminal 1, such as portable telephone, PHS(R) and PDA to a settlement terminal 3 in a store 2, the store 2 transmits the purchase information or client information from the settlement terminal 3 to an account terminal 5 in a settlement bank 4 of the user and the settlement bank 4 performs settlement after confirming the will of purchase to the user.
