Abstract:
To provide a pressure accumulation device which can instantly generate a pressure and, in addition, is applicable even to a situation where supply of a pressure higher than the pressure outputted by a pressure supply source such as an oil pump is required.SOLUTION: A pressure accumulation device (1) is provided with: a first pressure accumulation chamber (110); a housing (100) equipped inside with a second pressure accumulation chamber (120) that has a cross sectional area larger than the cross sectional area of the first pressure accumulation chamber (110); a first piston (130) that is provided inside the first pressure accumulation chamber (110) and is moved in the first pressure accumulation chamber (110) along the inner wall (110a) of the first pressure accumulation chamber by the pressure supplied from a pressure supply source (2); a second piston (140) that is provided inside the second pressure accumulation chamber (120) and is moved in the second pressure accumulation chamber (120) along the inner wall (120a) of the second pressure accumulation chamber by the pressure supplied from the pressure supply source (2); and an elastic member (160) having one end abutting on the first piston (130) and the other end abutting on the second piston (140).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
