Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonpolar power storage element capable of bidirectionally charging and discharging with improved cycle characteristics even with an extremely simple configuration that requires no polar discrimination.SOLUTION: The power storage element includes: a first electrode and a second electrode each of which includes a current collecting layer, and an active material plate that is provided on at least one surface of the current collecting layer and is composed mainly of a plurality of spinel type lithium manganite based single crystal particles formed by being coupled two-dimensionally; and an electrolyte having lithium ion conductivity that is provided between the first electrode and the second electrode so as to be capable of contacting the active material plate.
