Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulation unit and a print creation device which can laminate a sheet laminate in a good form also during high-speed operation.SOLUTION: A sheet accumulation part 40 comprises: a front positioning part 44 for positioning a front end edge in a carrying-in direction of a sheet, which is provided on a carrying-in direction front side of a sheet (for example, a signature S) carried into the sheet accumulation part 40; and a rear positioning part 46 for positioning a rear end edge in the carrying-in direction of the sheet, which is provided on a sheet carrying-in direction rear side so as to face the front part positioning part 44. When the sheet enters the sheet accumulation part 40, the front positioning part 44 separates from the rear positioning part 46 so that a distance from the rear positioning part 46 becomes larger than the length of the sheet in the carrying-in direction. After the front end edge in the carrying-in direction of the sheet comes into contact with the front positioning part 44, the front positioning part 44 approaches the rear positioning part 46 so that the distance from the rear positioning part 46 becomes substantially equal to the length of the sheet in the carrying-in direction.
