To solve the problems of a conventionally structured accumulator for a 2-piston compressor, wherein there is a difference in heights of interior pipes of the accumulator in order to equalize flow passage lengths from the interior pipes to a suction hole, and an extra body shell material is required in this case for securing a liquid return prevention height in the accumulator, resulting in a cost increase and a noise increase from resonance in the interior pipe.
An accumulator for a 2-piston compressor of this structure reduces costs and prevents noises and overflows at a suction port of the compressor while raising inertia effect and realizing high performance of the compressor by making the shapes of the interior pipes 5 and 6 helical and by equalizing the suction position heights of both the interior pipes.
