Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator capable of improving manufacturability, to provide an air conditioner with such an accumulator, to provide an air conditioner embodying application of an accumulator, and to provide an accumulator manufacturing method capable of improving manufacturability.SOLUTION: An accumulator 1 includes: a vessel 2; a low-pressure-refrigerant inlet tube 3; and a low-pressure-refrigerant outlet element 4 provided in the vessel 2 and including an upstream tubular portion, a low-pressure-refrigerant folded-back portion, and a downstream tubular portion. At least part of the upstream tubular portion is covered with a first outer tube 14 with a clearance kept therebetween and at least part of the downstream tubular portion is covered with a second outer tube 15 with a clearance kept therebetween, a first outer tube 14 and the second outer tube 15 are communicated with each other by a bridge tube 16, and high-pressure refrigerant passes through a clearance between the upstream tubular portion and the first outer tube 14, the bridge tube 16 and the clearance between the downstream tubular portion and the second outer tube 15.
