Abstract:

To provide an accumulator fuel injection device free to control injection time, injection quantity or an injection rate in high precision by damping a pressure wave generated by injection of an injection valve in an overall driving conditional area of an engine by setting a cushioning member in the middle of a fuel passage.

A damper chamber 52 is provided on the downstream of a fuel passage 51 between an accumulator 5a and a fuel supply pipe 4 of a common rail 5, a damper 53 (cushioning member) free to move in the axial direction is arranged in it, a spring 54a and a spring 54b (energizing means) are arranged on both sides of the damper 53 and are energized in both directions of the upstream and the downstream. Additionally, an orifice 53a (communicating passage) to constantly communicate the upstream side and the downstream side to each other is provided on the damper 53. Consequently, as it is possible to damp a pressure wave generated by injection of an injection valve in an overall driving condition area of an engine, it is possible to eliminate an influence to injection of the pressure wave and possible to provide an accumulator fuel injection device free to control injection time, injection quantity or an injection rate in high precision.
