To provide an accumulator capable of causing a lubricant to be flown out as quickly as possible even in a variety of circumstances.
An accumulator 80 provided to an air conditioner includes a casing 81 and an outlet pipe 83. At the outlet pipe 83, a sucking opening 83b is formed and a folding back part 85 and a penetration part 86 are provided. The sucking opening 83b is positioned at an upper part of an internal space S, and the folding back part 85 is folded back at a lower part of the internal space S, so that the penetration part 86 penetrates the casing 81 through an opening 92b. A first oil return hole 85a is formed at the folding back part 85. Between the folding back part 85 and the penetration part 86 in height direction, a second oil return hole 87a is formed. The height position of the second oil return hole 87a is lower than the sucking opening 83b and higher than a maximum normal time liquid level which is a maximum liquid level of liquid refrigerant held in the internal space S of the casing 81 during a normal operation of the air conditioner.
