Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator including a filter capable of passing a foreign substance without inhibiting a flow of a refrigerant even when the filter catches the foreign substance mixed in the refrigerant.SOLUTION: An accumulator includes: an inlet pipe 5 provided by penetrating an upper part of a hermetic type container body 1; an outlet pipe 6 provided by penetrating a lower part of the container body 1; and a filter 7 provided so as to partition the inside of the container body 1 vertically, and allowing a refrigerant from the inlet pipe 5 to pass. The filter 7 is formed in a recess shape with a top opened. A center part of the concave is configured by: a first filter part 7a facing the inlet pipe 5; and a second filter part 7b folded outward from an upper end part of the first filter part 7a. A part excluding the center part of the first filter part 7a is formed in a mesh-shape for catching a foreign substance mixed in the refrigerant, and the second filter part 7b is formed in a mesh-shape which is coarser than the mesh of the first filter part 7a or in a tabular shape having a plurality of holes.
