To relate to a technique of adjusting the level of an acoustic signal so as not to give a user a feeling of strangeness to the sound.
An acoustic apparatus has a calculation gain recording part that records a gain calculated by switching an acoustic source. When the gain of an acoustic signal of the acoustic source selected by switching the acoustic source is not recorded in the calculation gain recording part, the gain of the acoustic signal of the selected acoustic source is calculated, and level correction of the acoustic signal is carried out based on the calculated gain. Thereby, a process of gain calculation becomes unnecessary when the gain for each switching of the acoustic source is recorded, and the sound can be provided properly and promptly to a user due to shortening of the gain calculation time. In addition, by carrying out the gain calculation when the gain is not recorded, the sound can be provided properly to a user depending on the acoustic source.
