Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the transmission rate of acoustic communication.
SOLUTION: A transmission section 1 applies either or both of amplitude modulation and phase modulation based on transmission information and modulation based on a signal representing a window function to a carrier with a prescribed frequency, and transmits the modulated signal in sound. A reception section 2 receives an acoustic signal sent from the transmission section 1 and converts the signal into an electric signal. Then the reception section 2 applies Fourier transform to the converted signal, reads either or both of a phase and an amplitude with the carrier frequency and demodulates the communication information on the basis of the read value.
