To provide an acoustic correction method of an acoustic output in electronic equipment and the electronic equipment.
Electronic equipment includes: extraction means; analysis means; and setting means. The extraction means extracts a measurement signal included in a reproduction sound to be reproduced by an acoustic device. The analysis means analyzes the characteristics of a measurement signal extracted by the extraction means. The setting means sets characteristics of constituting a minimum phase filter from amplitude characteristics requested by a correction filter to be used for the acoustic device on the basis of the analysis result of the analysis means, and constituting an all pass filter corresponding to a phase difference between the phase characteristics of the minimum phase filter and phase characteristics requested by the correction filter, and providing the correction filter by synthesizing the filter coefficients of the minimum phase filter and the filter coefficients of the all pass filter by a convolution operation.
