To provide an acoustic device for a washroom capable of changing sound stop timing or a fade-out time.
When a person enters the washroom and is detected by a human body detecting sensor 7, a toilet cover 5 automatically rises. When the person is seated on a toilet seat 4, the output of music is started from a loudspeaker 9. When the person stands up from the toilet seat 4, the sound volume of the music begins to fall gradually after the lapse of a preset delay time t, and the sound completely stops upon the lapse of a required time (fade-out time) f from the start of falling. Both the delay time t and fade-out time f are changeable. A plurality of candidate values t1, t2-tn are set as the delay time t to a control circuit 10. A plurality of candidate values f1, f2-fn are also set as the fade-out time to the control circuit. These candidate values are changed by switch operation.
