Abstract:
To provide: an acoustic lens which can exhibit superior acoustic characteristics according to the wave length λ of acoustic waves to be propagated as an acoustic lens for propagating acoustic waves having a wave length λ of 100 μm or shorter; and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An acoustic lens to be used for propagating acoustic waves having a wave length λ of 100 μm or shorter comprises a silicone resin and silica particles. The silica particles have an average primary particle diameter of 15 nm or more. In a cumulative particle-size distribution of the silica particles, a cumulative 90%-particle diameter (D90) is less than 1/8 of the wave length λ of acoustic waves to be propagated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
