Abstract:

To appropriately set a suppression magnitude of a noise component in noise suppression of multiplication type.

A coefficient string generation part 44 is composed of a coefficient value g(f,τ) of each frequency f multiplied by each of the frequency components X(f,τ) of each acoustic signal Sx(t), and generates a suppression coefficient string G(τ) for suppressing the noise component n(t) of the acoustic signal Sx(t) according to suppression magnitude β. A characteristic value calculating part 46 calculates a shape parameter α corresponding to the shape of the magnitude distribution of the acoustic signal Sx(t). A magnitude setting part 48 variably sets the suppression magnitude β, applied in the generation of the suppression coefficient string G(τ), according to the shape parameter α.
