Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic reproducing method for reproducing an audible sound from an ultrasonic wave, that can eliminate deterioration in frequency characteristics of a reproducing sound produced by resonance characteristics of an ultrasonic wave vibrating element.
SOLUTION: The frequency components of an audible sound signal are separated into a frequency component at which the frequency characteristics of the reproducing sound produced by the resonance characteristic of the ultrasonic wave vibrating element are deteriorated and other frequency components, an amplitude modulator adopting a single side band system separately amplitude- modulates the separated frequency components, the frequency regions of the single side band obtained by the amplitude modulation are placed on a desirable characteristic curve in the resonance characteristics of the ultrasonic wave vibrating element to eliminate disadvantages above.
