Abstract:
PURPOSE:To achieve a higher stability for temperature or the like, by connecting a sound receiving diaphragm of a silicon single crystal plate having a partial reflection coat arranged as opposed to an optical fiber end face to a support for an optical fiber with a low-melting point metal. CONSTITUTION:A sensor is made up of a controller 1, an optical fiber 2 and a sensor head 3' and a silicon single crystal plate 5' provided on the head 3' is connected to a fiber support 7 with a low-melting point metal binding material 9. Then, a monochromatic light power emitted from a semiconductor laser light source or the like of the controller 1 is made incident on the head 3' and light transmitted through a partial reflection coat film 4 at an end of a fiber 2 is partially reflected on a partial reflection coat film 6 inside the plate 5' to cause a repeated reflection interference between the films 4 and 6. Then, as the perimeters of the support 7 and the plate 5' are bound by the material 9, a gap can be maintained stably between the end face of the fiber 2 and a plate 5 thereby assuring a stable performance for temperature.
