Abstract:
To provide an acoustic transducer having uniform response characteristics in a broadband frequency spectrum, and a method of driving the same.
An acoustic transducer includes a plurality of driving unit groups (10, 20, 30) disposed on a substrate. The plurality of driving unit groups comprises first and second driving unit groups. Each of the first and second driving unit groups comprises at least one electrode. The first driving unit group is driven at a first phase, and the second driving unit group is driven at a second phase that is different from the first phase. The plurality of driving unit groups provides relatively uniform frequency response characteristics in different frequency regions.
