Abstract:
To provide a homogeneous system assay using chemical radiation acridinium compounds for detecting or quantifying analytes in a sample without the use of a strong acid treatment or a strong base treatment.
The chemiluminescent acridinium compounds are acridinium esters having an electron-donating functional groups in at least either C2 area on an acridinium nucleus and C7 area in order to retard the formation of a pseudo-base, alternatively an acridinium-sulfonamides having or not having an electron-donating functional groups in at least either C2 area on the acridinium nucleus and C7.
