Abstract:
To obtain an acrylic elastomer composition containing carboxyl group as crosslinking site and having improved scorch resistance without lowering the normal-state physical properties, heat-resistance, compression set, etc., of the base elastomer.
This acrylic elastomer composition is produced by compounding a carboxyl-containing acrylic elastomer with a polyfunctional isocyanate compound as a vulcanization promoting agent selected from guanidine compound, quaternary onium salt, t-amine compound and t-phosphine compound.
