Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an acrylic hollow sheath-core fiber having high water- retainability in spite of excellent gloss and dyeability.

CONSTITUTION: The objective acrylic hollow sheath-core fiber contains a copolymer containing ≥85wt.% of acrylonitrile as the sheath part component and a cellulose acetate as intermittently existing core part. The ratio of the core part in the fiber is 5-50wt.%.
