To provide an acrylic powder coating composition capable of forming a coating film having increased adhesion to aluminum-brazed parts and also excellent in water resistance, corrosion resistance and weather resistance.
This acrylic powder coating composition contains an acrylic resin having a glycidyl group and a 14C dibasic carboxylic acid (tetradecanedioic acid), and the dibasic carboxylic acid is compounded at 0.5-3.0 equivalent based on the above-mentioned glycidyl group. This acrylic powder coating composition can much improve the adhesion of the coating film therefrom to Al-Si-based brazed parts compared with conventional acrylic powder coating using dodecanedioic acid as the curing agent. Therefore, the composition exhibits not inferior coating film surface nature, flexibility, shock resistance and weather resistance and much superior water resistance and corrosion resistance than conventional acrylic powder coatings.
