To obtain an acrylic premix capable of providing an acrylic artificial marble excellent in water repellency and stain-proof properties and having a good appearance by including a specific composition, an inorganic filler, a hardening agent and a specified silicone.
The objective premix comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. acrylic resin composition consisting of (i) 10-90 wt.% acrylic monomer and (ii) 10-90 wt.% acrylic polymer, (B) 10-400 pts.wt. inorganic filler, (C) 0.01-10 pts.wt. hardening agent, (D) 0.01-10 pts.wt. one or more kinds of reactive silicone of formulas I and II [R1 is H or methyl; R2 is a 1-5C alkylene; R3 and R4 are each a 1-4C alkyl; (m) and (n) are each 5-200], and (E) optionally a resin particles containing the inorganic filler. The acrylic artificial marble is obtained by heating and pressurizing the premix at 90-150°C to harden the premix.
