Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an acrylic sheath-core fiber microscopically exhibiting various color tone according to the observing direction.
CONSTITUTION: The objective acrylic sheath-core fiber exhibiting directionally different color tone contains an acrylonitrile polymer containing ≥85wt.% of acrylonitrile as the sheath part component and a cellulose acetate or a mixture of a cellulose acetate and an acrylonitrile polymer as the core part component. The ratio of the core part in the fiber is 5-50wt.%.
