Abstract:

To provide a thin wall acrylic SMC of good impregnation properties into a fiber reinforcing agent of an acrylic resin composition and good film release properties and handling properties and also provide an acrylic molded product of high productivity, good resistance to solvents, good resistance to heat, good resistance to hot water, good resistance to weather and high mechanical strength.

An acrylic sheet molding compound of 6 mm or less thickness formed of an acrylic compound and a fiber reinforcing agent is sandwiched between two release films, and the acrylic compound is composed of an acrylic resin composition containing an acrylic monomer or an acrylic syrup, an inorganic filler and also an acrylic polymer powder of 50,000 or more weight average molecular weight as constituting components.
