Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen-containing deeply dyed acrylic fiber that shows improved discharge style printing properties, and provide a pile fabric from the acrylic fiber.
SOLUTION: The acrylic synthetic fiber comprising 35-55 wt.% of acrylonitrile, 45-65 wt.% of halogen-containing monomer, 0-5 wt.% of a sulfonic acid group-containing monomer and 0.2-5 wt.% of monomers selected from the group consisting of acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, alkyl esters thereof and vinyl esters has excellent discharge printing properties and shows high dye-affinity.
