Abstract:
To enable determination of an action to select subsets in a combined bandit problem while reducing the calculation cost.SOLUTION: A sampling unit M03 performs, based on a ZDD retaining a set family representing a collection of subsets fulfilling restraints in an element set, backward facing weight B, and the weight of each element at the present time, sampling the subsets included in the set family. An output unit M01 obtains a cost observed at the time of executing an action to select the sampled subsets. A co-occurrence probability calculation unit M04 calculates, based on the backward facing weight B and the weight of each element at the present time, for each pair of elements, the co-occurrence probability in which the pair of elements co-occurs at the present time. A main device unit M02 calculates, based on the co-occurrence probability at the present time and the obtained cost, the loss of each element at the present time, and also calculates, based on the weight of each element at the present time and the loss of each element at the present time, the weight of each element at the subsequent time. Each of the above-mentioned processing is repeatedly carried out for each of times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
