Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a molding stock or other product, in which two barrier material layers are alternately provided among three layers made of different thermoplastic material such as PET or the like.
SOLUTION: A first melt passage 92 and a their melt passage 94 are branched in a front side melt distributing manifold 18 and extend to a large number of heating nozzles 10. The first melt passage extends through the center melt channel 56 of each heating nozzle, while the third melt passage extends through the outside annular melt channel 66 surrounding the center melt passage to each gate 32. A second melt passage 112 is branched in a rear side melt distributing manifold 82 and extends the inside annular melt channel 64 between the center melt passage and the outside annular melt channel of each heating nozzle. A control valve 118 is mounted before the branching position of the first melt passage in the front side melt distributing manifold so as to separately control the flows of melts running respectively through three melt passage during the pouring cycle of a melt.
